thankful for the cooler weather!
some fun fall treats...
considering it joy!
Well, It's been a little while since I have "blogged." I have been sick. What's new huh!?
But, no complaints... James tells us "Consider is all JOY, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." - James 1:2-4
But here we go again...:)

any tips?

The one chore that I wouldn't mind if I never had to do is cleaning the shower. Yuk! :) I don’t think there is any “easy” in this one. The only good tip I have been given so far is from a shoe company… “Just do it!” If anyone has any good tips or knows anything that works well in cleaning the shower, I would love to hear what works well for you.
Happy Cleaning!

Organizing and clutter free tips!
I read a book the other day that had this awesome quote in it, it said.. “evening efforts ease morning rushed.” Great advice huh!? There is really a lot we can do to help are mornings start out right!
Good examples:
Pick out your clothes before you go to bed
Place wallet, keys, sun glasses etc. by the door
Set the coffee timer for the morning
Do a quick “pick up” around the house before you head to bed (keeping things organized and neat.)

labels are helpful!
No more piles....File!
one-thing-at-a-time!
Always have little things to do around the house but don't know what to do first? Here's an idea...Make it fun! Cut up some paper and write all the things that need to get done. Put them in a jar and when you have some extra time just pick one! Example: Wipe down and organize pantry, go through bookshelf, organize desk drawers, and so on… remember it's just one-thing-at-a-time!Wednesday, September 3, 2008
One, Two, Three!
He likes green apples and I like red apples!
Fresh Italian pesto dish for the summer days!
Here is a pasta dish that is not too heavy, but full of lost of goodness!Walnut pesto
2cups fresh parsley
¾ cup toasted walnuts
1 tablespoon thyme
3 garlic cloves
½ cup olive oil
Salt and pepper
Mix all the ingredients together, expected for the olive oil, in a small food processor. Slowly blend the ingredients together, while added in the olive oil in- a little at a time.
Mix until finely chopped.
Red, yellow and green bell peppers- cored, seeded and thinly sliced.
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 pound of pasta (whichever you prefer)
1 package of shredded cheese
2 boneless, skinless pieces of chicken
Heat two large skillets; one for the chicken and the other for sautéing the peppers and garlic. Cut chicken into diced-bite size pieces and sauté in skillet until no longer pink. Then combine pepper in garlic in the other skillet and sauté until it is yummy and caramelized. After combine both the chicken and peppers together.
In a large pot, boil and cook pasta until tender but still firm to the bite.
Drain pasta and then place into a large serving bowl. Slowly mix in the walnut pesto sauce and then mix in the chicken and peppers. Salt and pepper to taste and then serve!
