I’m reading “The Pursuit of God,” by A.W. Tozer. It is rocking my world! I love this book! I’m learning a ton, there is to much to share in one blog, however, I will share one cool thing that is in the third chapter. It’s titled “removing the veil,” and it basically is talking in depth about how we, as believers, have to ability to come into the presence of the Lord because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross.
Just a little taste... it quotes,
“The cross is rough and it is deadly, but it is effective. It does not keep its victim hanging there forever. There comes a moment when its work is finished and the suffering victim dies. After that is resurrection glory and power, and the pain is forgotten for joy that the veil is taken away and we have entered in actual spiritual experience the presence of the living God!”
